Senator Imee Marcos continues to spread love and joy through her special pasasalamat sa mga barangay initiative, giving back to the people supportive of the Marcos-Duterte tandem.
Recently, the lawmaker went to Ilocos Norte, teaming up with Ilocos Norte Governor
Matthew Manotoc as they visited Barangay Baay, Batac City; Barangay Gabut Norte, Badoc; the Municipality of Nueve Era; and Barangay Davila, in Pasuquin.
With the assistance of the Department of Agriculture, Imee and Matthew bonded with their fellow Ilocanos over lunch while gifting them with a fresh crop of veggies and eggs as well as chicken and fish.
“It is always great to be back home in Ilocos Norte and spend some much-needed quality time with my kakailians,” she says. “Kahit ang dami dami naming inikot ni Matthew, it doesn’t feel like work at all. It’s like a huge family reunion every time I’m there with them.”
Speaking of family, Imee has also whipped up a special vlog entry for this year’s Father’s Day celebration to honor her father, the late President Ferdinand Marcos, and all the loving and hard-working Pinoy fathers out there.
Check out Imee’s Ilocos homecoming and her Father’s Day treat this June 17 and 19 on her official YouTube Channel.
