But before that, on Friday, Sept. 2, the Senator officially launches the pilot episode of her Love Local series as she features the coolest, most amazing finds from her home province of Ilocos Norte.
Her first stop is at Paoay Church where she munched on the most scrumptious treats around its vicinity such as Ilocos’ famous empanada, fruit ice creams, halo-halo, and a one-of-a-kind longganisa pizza.
Manang Imee then segues to La Preciosa where she sampled Ilocano pasalubong staples such as banana chips, mushroom bagnet, and a wide variety of longganisas while showcasing the most mouthwatering selection of Ilocos’ popular dishes.
As a staunch supporter of local fashion and homegrown artists, Imee also flexed the province’s export quality Inabel and Binakol fabrics.
