Luminous Belle Mariano has added another feather to her cap.
The “He’s Into Her” lead star is among Outstanding Asian Stars to be honored at the upcoming 17th Seoul International Drama Awards on Sept. 22.
After a month-long voting on the Idol Champ application by global fans, the Kapamilya actress was hailed as the Philippine winner along with four other Asian artists.
She bested 175 male and female actors from Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
The Seoul International Drama Awards, organized by Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee and Korean Broadcasters Association, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and various Korean broadcast stations, is a prestigious drama festival that brings global television drama productions together and fosters cultural diversity.
Belle is set to star in Star Cinema’s upcoming film “An Inconvenient Love” alongside her onscreen partner Donny Pangilinan.
The tandem also led the successful “He’s Into Her: All Access” concert last August 27.
She rose to fame for her portrayal of Maxpein Del Valle Luna in “He’s Into Her” and Gabbie Salazar in “Four Sisters Before the Wedding.”
