Toni Gonzaga has found a new home.
She is now part of the newly established AllTV’s roster of artists.
The jump created a storm, with some fans criticizing her for leaving ABS-CBN.
Then there’s also her decision to take part in President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s campaign sorties.
Is she bothered at all with the apparent backlash?
Toni smiled and told us, “I choose not to dwell on those things, on negativity and bashing online. Any decision that you make na sinunod mo yung desisyon ng puso, it will lead you to the right path. And it will give you peace in your heart. When you make the right decision, and there’s peace in your heart, that’s priceless.”
She is out with a new show titled simply “Toni,” which airs weekdays at 5pm.
Toni is happy that it coincides with her 20th year in show business.
“It’s like I’m starting all over again, which is refreshing,” she said.
The biggest lesson he learned throughout the years?
“To never give on yourself,” she said. “To always believe in your dream.”
She went on, “I never gave up on myself. Even when everybody was giving up on me when I was starting, even when no one was believing in me, and everybody was turning their backs on me, I never gave up my myself, my dream, and my faith. For as long as you believe in yourself, you continue to make your soul and your spirit alive.”
Talking about her new show, Toni said, “It’s very inspirational. Hindi lang sa audience kung hindi sa akin din. Kasi I learn a lot from my guests eh. They allow me new insights and for that I’m very grateful.”
