For most, DJ Loonyo is just another social media sensation.
But the man himself insists he has more to offer.
He is out to prove this via “The Take Off” concert to be held December 8, at the Matrix Creations Events Venue in Quezon City.
In a recent interview, DJ Loonyo explained the concert is a culmination of a longtime dream.
He explained, “It all started with the ‘Loonyoverse’ concept, which has now evolved into the ‘They Made Me Do It’ movement. It’s my way of communicating my hopes and dreams and manifesting it.”
Through the concert, he is out to show that he is far beyond mere social media sensation.
“I intend to show people all that I can do – dance, sing, act.”
He is not alone.
Joining him at the concert are several friends under Area 63 or A63.
These include Mannex Manhattan, Amari, Freshbreed, Yuki Takahashi, Ken San Jose, and music producer, Solomon Stark.
Said DJ Loonyo, “Sino ba ang magtutulungan kung hindi kami kami ring magkakaibigan?”
But he was quick to make clear, “I didn’t pick them solely because kaibigan ko sila. They have something fresh and exciting to offer the public and I intend to highlight these at our concert.”
Dance performances will also feature two of the dance community’s well-sought and awarded groups, RockwellPH and Youngins.
DJ Loonyo assured the concert is going to be different in so many ways. “Everything you will see here is original – the music, the dance moves, the stage design…it’s a guaranteed audio-visual feast.”
