The Bacoor City Strikers Metro Land Builder Lady Altas distinguished themselves as the first champion squad of the Maharlika Pilipinas Volleyball Association (MPVA).
Showing steely resolve, the Lady Altas defeated the Negros Blue Hawks, 28-26, 25-14, 25-23, in the rubber match of the best-of-three title series on Thursday, December 21, at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo City.

For her consistent showing, Omipon took the MVP award apart from being named
