Anthony Jennings is rapidly rising into prominence.
This, mainly due to him being able to “own” the characters he plays in various outings.
It is a surprise even for Anthony as he didn’t imagine pursuing a career in acting.
He related, “Wala talaga sa plano ko mag showbiz, ang idea is to just become a commercial model.”
But he was quick to admit, ” Pero nanonood ako ng action films at dahil dun gusto ko maging action star.”
He is best known for his breakout role as Snoop in the ongoing series “Can’t Buy Me Love,” alongside Belle Mariano, Donny Pangilinan, and Maris Racal, who plays his romantic interest.
“Si Maris, nakakatuwa, may charm, masarap siya ka-eksena,” remarked Anthony.
The two have ignited a wave of positive chatter among show fans.
Prior to his triumphant portrayal as Snoop, Anthony was steadily solidifying his reputation as an actor appearing in “Make It With You” with Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil and “The House Arrest of Us” with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Another notable achievement for Anthony is his first starring role, “Love at First Stream,” alongside co-star Daniela Stranner.
He also appeared in the film “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
“Go with the flow lang ako eh. So kung ano ibigay sakin, tatanggapin ko ‘yun. Pero gusto ko magpatayo ng bahay para sa pamilya. ‘Yun naman yung gusto natin eh, yung maging maayos ‘yung buhay,” Anthony shared.
“Alam ko, may plano naman si God. May plano siya kung ano ibibigay niya sayo,” he added.
In his characteristically humble manner, he added, “‘Wag natin kalimutan kung saan tayo nanggaling.”
Anthony is definitely someone to watch out for.
