Ryan Gallagher, an American singer-songwriter who eked huge notice as contestant on “The Voice,” has signed with Fire and Ice, the production company of couple Ice Seguerra and Liza Diño.
The move is a no-brainer for Liza who attested to Ryan being the “complete package.”
She went on to enumerate Ryan’s best qualities relating, “He could sing, he could write songs, he’s gorgeous and, best of all, he’s a really nice person, easy to work with.”
Ice agrees.
He said, “More than anything talaga, yung pagiging mabait ni Ryan ang nagustuhan namin sa kanya. Siyempre bukod sa talent, we want someone na maayos katrabaho and Ryan is exactly that.”
For his first project under Fire and Ice, Ryan will have a post-Valentine’s concert at the Music Museum on February 17 titled “The Voice of Ryan.”
“It’s going to be an introduction of sorts para naman mas makilala siya ng mga Pilipino,” said Ice.
“The Voice of Ryan” promises a magical journey through three captivating themes: “Classically Ryan,” “Ryan Reimagined,” and “Ryan Unplugged.”
These themes showcase Ryan’s versatility as an artist, highlighting his classical training, his ability to breathe new life into classic hits, and his raw, soulful sound.
Ivan Lee Espinosa is the musical director for the concert, while Ice takes on the role of stage director.
He will also perform in the show alongside Martin Nievera and Lara Maigue.
Ryan is excited about it, of course.
“I’m looking forward to the concert,” he said. “I’m excited to see how people would react to what we’ve prepared for them.”
He is aware of the Filipino’s love for singing.
He said, “It kinda gives you a complex, that this is what I do for a living, but how are these people better than me at karaoke?”
“It’s a challenge to impress and surprise people who actually know and appreciate music.”
Presented by Katinko and sponsored by Phillip’s Fine Jewelry, Tickets for “The Voice of Ryan” are now available at Ticketworld.
