Lovi Poe is on a roll.
She just landed her second Hollywood project in “Bad Man.”
Beyond that, she is also busy with several projects here, including two upcoming films as produced by Regal Entertainment.
But that’s not all.
Her film production company with husband Monty Blencowe C’est Lovi is set to start their first effort.
One might think Lovi is exhausted at this point taking on so much work but, no.
Apparently, she likes to keep busy.
“I love working. I love travelling so, I really couldn’t complain,” she said.
So how does it feel making it in Hollywood?
“It feels great. Siyempre, tayo naman ang gusto natin e, to showcase Filipino talents abroad and I’m really happy na marami na sa atin ang nabibigyan ng exposure doon diba? There’s Dolly de Leon, there’s Liza Soberano, there’s Iñigo Pascual…marami na, but we want more.”
This is the main reason why she put up C’est Lovi Productions.
“Yeah yun ang pinaka-goal – to showcase Filipino talent and, hopefully, bring them to the global stage. Kasi marami tayong magagaling na actors, directors, writers and I think it would be nice to see everyone, you know, the best of the best excel globally as well.”
C’est Lovi’s first effort is a Jerrold Tarog project.
Lovi shared, “It’s written by Jerrold Tarog and it’s gonna be directed by Jerrold Tarog. We’re in the middle of casting at the moment. It’s a thriller basically.”
Busy as she is, Lovi stayed for only a week in the country.
But she promised to be back real soon.
“I am truly grateful for all of you and your continued support,” she told us. “I’ll be leaving for a bit pero I’ll be back agad.”
