Subic Bay’s most anticipated and well-participated multi-sport event is to return this year.
My Daily Collagen Triathlon takes place there on March 10.
Different participating triathlon teams from all over the Philippines attended the press conference held at the Limbaga 77 Cafe Restaurant in Quezon City today, February 19.
Beauty queen-turned-triathlete Faith Garcia also graced the event, joining the My Daily Collagen Triathlon as a race participant.
“It’s something that I look forward to after joining beauty competitions. I think I am already done with pageants”, says the 29-year-old Miss Aura International 2021.
“I’m becoming very emotional now, because I am joining races for a cause: my dad had two cases of strokes in the past so it is very important for me to advocate about physical wellness”, the beauty queen-athlete adds.
Aptly dubbed a beginner-friendly race for aspiring triathletes, the My Daily Collagen Triathlon 2024 event continues to offer safe courses for triathlon rookies, race veterans and even seasoned triathletes as well:
Standard Distance: 1.5KM Swim, 40KM Bike and 10KM Run
Sprint Distance: 750M Swim, 20KM Bike and 5KM Run
Standard Distance Relay: 1.5KM Swim, 40KM Bike and 10KM Run
To make it more exciting, this year’s athletes will be surprised with a never-before-seen running course, which will be announced during the race briefing on March 9.
“We’re so excited to see newbies, veterans and seasoned athletes showcase their weeks of training through this race”, says Anna Perez, Global Wellness Enterprises/My Daily Collagen President.
“We have about 400 registered participants as of now, coming from all categories. We want this race to inspire people to do the things that inspire them”, adds Oliver Salas, My Daily Collagen’s Chief Sales Officer and Event Director of Super Series Philippines.
“There will be enough hydration stations and medical personnel on standby to make sure our participants finish the race. This race is planned very well – the courses are mostly flat, so we can guarantee that this is really beginner-friendly”, says Race Director and World Ironman Qualifier Nylah Bautista.

The race will be on March 10, 6am at Boardwalk, Subic Bay.
