Barbie Forteza and David Licauco are at it again.
Giving in to their fandom’s desire, that is.
The two have upped the ante this time around, being to the big screen the winning chemistry they displayed so well on TV via “That Kind of Love.”
As produced by Pocket Media Productions and Pocket Media Films in cooperation with Happy Infinite Productions (Special thanks to Digital Out Of Home, Inc.), “That Kind of Love” has the two playing opposites.
Well, kind of.
Barbie portrays Mila, a dating coach/psychologist, who does what she does mainly because, as she said, “she loves making love happen.”
David, on the other hand, plays Adam, a seemingly, cold, calculating CEO of a shipping company, who have lost faith in love.
Eager to test Mila’s theory about love, David hires her as his secretary, along the way, challenging her to find “the one” for him.
Director Catherine ‘CC’ O. Camarillo pulled no punches.
She made sure to pepper “That Kind of Love” with tons of “kilig” moments meant to please Barda fans.
And the two delivered.
They had everyone in the theatre screaming with delight with each interaction, be it a simple but meaningful gaze, a playful touch.
That they made it look effortless added to the magic.
For sure, this will only add to the clamor relating the two becoming lovers in real life.
“That Kind of Love,” as distributed by Regal Entertainment, opens in cinemas July 10.
