Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo is offering a P100,000 cash reward for any information that would lead to the arrest of gunmen who killed Lerma “Lerms” Lulu and her husband Arvin Lulu, both prominent online sellers, in Mexico, Pampanga on October 4.
“If you have any knowledge that could aid the investigation, I urge you to come forward and assist our law enforcement agencies,” Garbo said on Sunday.
Garbo also extended his condolences to the family of the slain couple who were residents of Mabalacat City.
Police reported that the victims were traveling onboard their car in Barangay Santo Rosario, Mexico, Pampagna when two armed men peppered them with bullets. Their son, who was with them, survived.
“I ask for your prayers for the families of the victims as they go through this unimaginable loss,” the mayor said.
The City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) offered counseling and support services to the victims’ family.
Likewise, the mayor directed the city chief of police to coordinate with the authorities in Mexico in the conduct of a comprehensive investigation, including the review of CCTV footage.
“We will leave no stone unturned in our pursuit of justice. Let us come together as one city to support one another and to ensure that those responsible for this act of violence are held accountable,” he said.
