Winnie Cordero and Amy Perez expressed joy being able to return to radio via DWPM Radyo 630/TeleRadyo Serbisyo.
DWPM Radyo 630, a joint venture between ABS-CBN and Prime Media, replaced DZMM Radyo 630, ABS-CBN’s flagship radio station, also known as DZMM Teleradyo.
Said Amy, “Masaya siyempre kasi we get to do what we love. At makakasama uli naming ang mga taong matagal na rin naming kasama sa serbisyo.”
“Ako, personally, very thankful kasi at least kami’y narito pa, kami’y napili…kasi
hindi lahat napipili,” added Winnie.
But it is also a tad sad at the same time, the two admitted.
“Bittersweet especially if you think about those people whom you were within the past…ang iba kasi wala na. Dispersed na kami. We still remember the past that put smiles on our faces all the time. Pero siyempre, katulad ng usad ng panahon e thankful kami na kami’y narito pa,” Winnie said.
Amy related, “Malungkot kasi alam naming nabawasan kami pero nandito pa rin kami, lumalaban. Hindi namin nakakalimutan ‘yung mga taong una naming nakasama sa DZMM na ngayon ay hindi na namin kasama. Marami kaming natutunan sa kanila. Actually, sila din yung mga inspirasyon na dala namin ngayon as we move forward with DWPM.”
Amy is hosting Radyo 630/TeleRadyo Serbisyo’s “Ako ‘To, Si Tyang Amy,” a public service program focusing on mental health. It airs Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 3pm.
Winnie has two shows in Radyo 630/TeleRadyo Serbisyo: “Tatak Serbisyo,” a public service program that airs Mondays to Fridays at 10:30 am and “Win Today,” which airs Saturdays at 10am.
