Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr. earned two prestigious awards recently.
Apart from being named Distinguished Leader in Public Service by Asia’s Pinnacle Awards 2024, he was also bestowed the Gawad Pilipino Lingkod Bayan Award by Gawad Pilipino Awards.
These recognitions are a testament to his continuing dedication to serve the Filipino people and his valuable contribution to management and legislation.
Asia’s Pinnacle Awards is a leading body that honors excellence in different disciplines like public services, business, and the entertainment industry.
The lawmaker stands out among other nominees because of his modern and creative approach to making policies and concrete assistance for public welfare.
Revilla also belongs to the Top 10 Outstanding Senators of the Gawad Pilipino Awards.
This award is for his accomplishments as a lawmaker, for authoring bills that have been signed into law, like “Kabalikat sa Pagtuturo (KaP) Act” (RA 11997), “No Permit, No Exam Prohibition Act” (RA 11984), “Free College Entrance Examination Act” (RA 12006), Pagpapalawak ng Saklaw ng Centenarians Act (RA 11982), and “Permanent Validity of the Certificates of Live Birth, Death, and Marriage Act” (RA 11909), and others.
“I’m grateful for these honors given me as a public servant. These recognitions are not just for me but for every Filipino who dreams of a better future. To be of service to the country is a privilege, so I’m dedicating these to my constituents who have been my inspiration to do better in my job,” Senator Bong said.
Known for his slogan “Aksyon sa Tunay na Buhay (Action in Real Life),” Revilla pursues the initiatives for genuine and immediate needs of the Filipino people.
“These recognitions are proofs that I’m not just a passive sitter or concerned only with winning ‘pogi points’ in the Senate. We really did some hard work, and now we are reaping the fruits of our dedicated effort to champion the welfare of the people,” Sen. Bong concluded.
Meanwhile, Revilla and the rest of his family are beaming with pride as Dr. Loudette Bautista officially begins her journey as a full-fledged physician.
Dr. Loudette took her oath on Friday, November 22, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).
A graduate of Ateneo de Manila University for her pre-medical studies and the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC) for her Doctor of Medicine degree, Dr. Loudette successfully passed the October 2024 Physician Licensure Examination.
Her achievement marks a significant milestone not only for herself but also for the Revilla family, who is now celebrating the triumph with immense joy and pride.
