Veteran hitter EJ Laure has finally found a new home in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) as she is set to bring her talent to Nxled, the team announced Monday, Nov. 25.
Laure is a welcome addition the Chameleons, who are eager to turn their fortunes around after dropping their first two games of the All-Filipino conference.
“Welcome to the Nxled Chameleons, Ennajie Laure!” Nxled wrote on its social media post.
“We’re so thrilled to have you on board and can’t wait to see you light up this fresh start! We’re rooting for you on your return to the PVL court, EJ,” it added.
The arrival of the 27-year-old spiker is likely to give Italian mentor Ettor Guidetti more offensitive options.
Laure recently bid goodbye, along with Buding Duremdes and her sister Eya, to Chery Tiggo after a two-year stint where she helped the team reach the finals in 2021 once and semis thrice.
Interestingly, the former UST star will make her debut with the Chameleons against her former team on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
