Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin are set to level up making their first appearance on the big screen via Regal Entertainment’s entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, “My Future You.”
They made obvious their excitement about it during a recent chat.
“Napakalaking bagay sa amin ito ni Francine,” Seth maintained. “Actually, noong unang binanggit sa akin ito, hindi ako makapaniwala. Marami kaming gusto marating sa karera namin and feeling ko isang napakalaking umpisa ito. Siyempre nakakatuwa, nakakakaba, exciting.”
Francine added, “We’re so grateful talaga sa tiwala na binigay sa amin ng Regal. Na kami ang pinili nila para sa project na ito sa dami ng mga artista ngayon is such a huge blessing. Gaya ng sabi ni Seth, nakakakaba but we’re thankful na lahat ng involved sa production ay nagtulungan to achieve the best results so, hopefully magustuhan ng mga tao.”
Directed by Crisanto B. Aquino, “My Future You” takes audiences on a romantic expedition with Karen (Francine) and Lex (Seth), young individuals who gets to connect with each other through the help of a comet despite them being in different timelines.
Said Seth, “Yung character ko yung nasa future, yung kay Francine ang nasa past.”
“Exciting kasi parang may magical aspect ang film,” intoned Francine. “Audiences should see kung paano naming susubukang i-resolve ang problema with regards to time in the name of love.”
Crisanto on his part shared, “With this film, we tried to create something different for audiences. Kasi diba, madalas nating marinig, ‘ Naku, napanood na naming dati yan.’ So, here, we tried to add elements to make it more special. Actually, it’s more than just a love story, it will also address concerns relating to family relations so, marami ang makaka-relate.”
Also starring Christian Vasquez, Almira Muhlach, Pewee O’Hara, Bodjie Pascua, Mosang, and Vance Larena, “My Fure You,” opens in theatres December 25.
