Lawyer-film producer Joji Alonso recently took to social media to weigh in on the controversial issue involving Maris Racal, Anthony Jennings and Jamela Villanueva.
Note the three have been among trending topics on social media for several days, after Jamela posted on Instagram screenshots of Maris and Anthony’s text messages to each other, seemingly alluding to a clandestine relationship.
Atty Joji wrote:
“Assuming that all the screenshots are legit, the fact remains that Maris and Anthony have committed NO crime. Their actions may be regarded as morally wrong, but they were never married to their respective partners.
“Jamela, on the other hand, may have committed at least 2 crimes with her actions – cyber libel and violation of data privacy. She cannot hide her actions under the guise of ‘moving on’. Yes, she may have experienced pain and betrayal, but this does NOT give her the license to violate the law.
She ended it with the Latin phrase “Nemo jus sibi dicere potest,” meaning “No one is entitled to take the law into his own hands.”
Jamela’s post came after Anthony finally admitted to having called it quits with her some months ago.
He denied that it has something to do with Maris, his love team partner.
Last July, Maris revealed that she has broken up with musician Rico Blanco.
She likewise denied accusations that it was because of Anthony.
Maris and Anthony are part of the MaThon love team.
They are rumored to have been playing sweet music for some time now.
