Kim Aitenza is donning a new hat – literally and figuratively.
The so-called Walking Encyclopedia met with media recently to promote his new show “Dami Mong Alam, Kuya Kim.”
He started the proceedings by removing his trademark slouch hat, putting on a Peaky Blinders style cap.
He said, “I’ve worn this hat for many years. I had it since the start of my TV career. Now it’s time to put on something different.”
Kim would go on to describe “Dami Mong Alam, Kuya Kim” as something exciting and new for him.
“Many already know that I’m into trivias. I like to discover new things, learn about them and share it with my audience. This show is very much like that but this time, ibang flavor naman. It is going to be fast-paced. It is meant to cater to a new generation of viewers who want to learn useful information in a manner that is short, direct to the point and fast.”
He maintained that he is very much hands-on relating the topics they tackle on the show, doing his own research to add to those that his team gathered.
“In this day and age, kailangan involved ka, flexible ka. You need to be up-to-date or else mapag-iiwanan ka,” he reasoned.
He would go on to promise that each episode will be akin to a rollercoaster ride filled with excitement, education, and discovery.
“From bizarre animal encounters to everyday phenomena, this show offers a perfect blend of fun and facts for the whole family,” Kim related.
“Dami Mong Alam, Kuya Kim,” airs Saturdays on GMA at 10:45am.
