Manila, Philippines – The Philippines is on track to meet its goal of providing 2.3 million poor households with conditional cash through the government’s flagship poverty reduction program called the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), based on a joint review by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), and World Bank (WB).
According to Social Welfare and Development Secretary Corazon J. Soliman, the review focused on the contributions to the program by the Social Welfare and Development Reform Project, financed by the WB with additional support from AusAID and the ADB-financed Social Protection Support Project.
