A CHINESE woman was robbed of her cash and personal belongings inside a taxicab she flagged down on Friday night, police reported yesterday.
Police identified the victim as Su Shan, 29, an information technician, staying in a residential building in Manila.
According to Shan, she boarded a taxicab at Aseana, ParaƱaque City, bound for the S&R shopping mall also in the city, but the driver brought her to the Walter Mart on Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City.
There, police said, the driver picked up two unidentified men who immediately took the victim’s personal belongings at gunpoint.
The suspects took away one Louis Vuitton bag, a Louis Vuitton wallet, P 200,000 cash, a pair of Gucci sunglasses, her Chinese assport, an iPhone XS Max, a Chinese-branded phone, a gold bracelet, a gold necklace, five ATM cards; five credit cards; and the keys of her room.
She was then dropped off at Bayshore corner Sunrise Drive, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, at 9:45 p.m.
Police are still conducting investigation for possible apprehension of the suspects. (Dhel Nazario)
