AN ALLEGED drug user was gunned down Saturday night by an unidentified man while playing a video game in a computer shop in Tondo, Manila.
Police identified the victim as Radem Edem, 39, a resident of Isla Puting Bato, Barangay 20, Tondo. He died on the spot from gunshot wounds in the head and left arm.
Victim’s niece Mylene, 24, helper, told police that Edem was playing a video game in Purok 1, Isla Putinig Bato, Barangay 20, Zone 2, at about 8:30 p.m. when an unidentified man wearing short pants and jacket arrived and shot him twice in the head.
SPO1 Joseph Almayda of the Manila Police District homicide section said that the suspect casually walked to unknown direction after the shooting incident.
According to Barangay Kagawad Fressie Amistoso, Edem was allegedly involved in robbery and illegal drug trade in their area.
Almayda also said that there were no CCTVs in the area.
The body was brought to Cruz Funeral Homes for autopsy and safekeeping. (Erma Edera)
