Real-life sweethearts Xian Lim and Kim Chiu are paired anew in Viva’s upcoming movie, “Always.”
Fans are quite excited about it.
Note the two were last seen together on the big screen in the 2014 romantic comedy movie “Past Tense.”
The two are as excited as their fans.
Kim told us, “Siyempre kasi ang tagal na rin at madalas na rin nga naming napag-uusapan ‘yan na parang ‘Kelan kaya?’ Finally, eto na siya and we’re both happy and excited about it.”
Xian added, “For this film, we would like to show our followers how we have grown as actors. Siyempre
ayaw namin na after a long wait ganun pa rin kami. This is a more mature version of our screen partnership.
Kim agrees. She related, “Sa trailer pa lang makikita mo na ibang Kim at Xian ang pinapanood mo. Tsaka dati, mga
projects naming madalas romcom. Dito, medyo mas malalim ang kwento.”
In “Always,” Kim brings life to the character of Anna, a blind woman. She will become friends with Xian’s Lino, a lonely parking attendant. Unbeknownst to Anna, Lino has a dark past. Will their friendship flourish into love?
Note the film is an adaptation of a Korean movie of the same title.
Helmed by seasoned director Dado C. Lumibao, it opens in cinemas Sept. 28.
