BEA BACK ON TV: Missed on the small screen for quite a spell, Bea Alonzo brings back her brand of acting to primetime TV starting sometime in January 2017.

Bea was last seen in a teleserye in 2014 via “Sana Bukas Pa ang Kahapon.”

The special treat is by way of “Love To Last”, the story of a romance against all odds. Bea’s character falls for a more mature man with three grown children and a separated wife.

On set, Bea addresses her first time leading man, Ian Veneracion, either Tito or Kuya. He joked that he was lucky if on a good day, the prized actress would call him Kuya.

Between Bea and Iza Calzado, an equally good actress, the one who plays the separated wife in the series, Ian gets his full serving of ribbing day in and day out. Then again, that’s how actors build their camaraderie on set, which translates to chemistry on screen.

NEW FAMILY DRAMA: ABS-CBN opens the year 2017 with the premiere of the much awaited family drama, “A Love to Last,” on Primetime Bida.

“A Love to Last” is a timely story about family and how love isn’t always what it seems to be.

Andeng Agoncillo (Bea Alonzo), bread-winner and successful events organizer, has always believed in love. For her, love is being with the man she loves and having a happy family with him.

Unfortunately, her ideal fairy tale love story didn’t have its happy ending after she caught her fiancé cheating on her days before their wedding. But despite this, Andeng remains hopeful that love will still come her way.

Anton Noble IV (Ian Veneracion), meanwhile, thought he already found love. After many years of marriage, his wife Grace (Iza Calzado) decided to leave him and asked for an annulment. He’s then left with their three children as a single father, on top of his job as a president of his company.

Fate then brings them together in the most unexpected time and place.

As she takes this risk, she also finds herself caught in the middle of Anton’s complicated life – dealing with the ex-wife and seeking acceptance from his kids.
