Suspect yields P2.5M shabu

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – A suspected drug lord from Marawi, tagged as a High Value Target (HVT) by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) was arrested Sunday in Brgy. San Vicente, Magalang here.

According to Chief Supt. Amador V. Corpus, regional police director, suspect Akil Imam, 29, was nabbed around 4 a.m. in his hideout at Bliss 1.

The suspect yielded 34 sachets of shabu; an electronic weighing scale; two .45 pistols; and a counting machine.

According to the PDEA, the seized shabu weighing 500 grams has an estimated street value of P2,500,000.
