BAGUIO CITY – A man and his live-in partner were arrested Monday after they yielded 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000 during a buy-bust operation launched by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Baguio City Police Office Station 10 at Suello Village, Bakakeng Central here.
PDEA Regional Director Gil Castro identified the arrested couple as Holy Elyjam Yango, 20, and Rhona Bell Ticuala,19, both residents of Leonila Hill, Baguio City.
Castro said the operatives confiscated yesterday from the suspects the buy-bust money, six sachets containing a total of 50 grams of shabu.
The suspects are now facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). They are now under the custody of PDEA-Cordillera Administrative Region for documentation.
