A witty comedy with just the right amount of sexy. This, in a nutshell, is “5-IN-1.”
The film, now streaming on Vivamax, is an amusing tale of John “Dick” Jordi, a man who has it all: Looks, money, and the love of not one, not two, not three, but five hotties.
Said film director GB Sampedro, “It’s a simple, entertaining romp that is meant to cater to the aspirations of the regular Joe. I mean, sino ba naman ang hindi nangarap kahit minsan na maging parang si Dick, ‘di ba?”
Playing Dick is Wilbert Ross, who is now fast gaining notice as a more-than-adequate comedian.
“Nakakatuwa lang talaga na ma-cast sa mga ganitong pelikula,” he said. “Parang naglalaro lang kami at the same time napapaligaya pa naming ang mga tao. Very fulfilling.”
His five girlfriends in the film are portrayed by Debbie Garcia, Rose van Ginkel, Ava Mendez, Angela Morena, and Jela Cuenca.
They are all known mostly for disrobing in front of cameras but in “5 In 1,” they were able to put a spotlight on their comedic abilities.
“I really enjoy doing comedy,” said Rose. “Mas mahirap magpatawa talaga pero enjoy gawin eh.”
The sentiment is echoed by Ava.
“Ang maganda sa comedy parang hindi ka napapagod gawin. Masaya lang.”
Jela, on the other hand, praised GB.
“Hinayaan niya kami i-explore ang mga characters namin in a way na naging natural na lang ang portrayal namin,” she said.
Debbie added, “Masaya ako sa resulta ng hard work namin. Nakakatuwa na kaya ko din pala mag-comedy.”
Angela urged fans to watch the film.
She said, “Hindi kayo magsisisi, promise. Aliw ito!”
