The Manila Broadcasting Company is set to stage the 2016 MBC National Choral Competition in December.
Considered as the biggest all-inclusive choral competition in the Philippines today, the event will have two divisions namely the children’s choir where a top prize of P100,000 is at stake while open category will be offering P150,000 for the overall winner.
Live auditions will happen in General Santos City (September 10), Dagupan City (September 17), Iloilo City (September 24), Cebu City (October 1), Davao City (October 8), Legazpi City (October 15) and at the Aliw Theater from October 22 to 24.
Choirs from other provinces outside of Metro Manila may also send an application packet consisting of high quality audition video and the attached application form.
The National championships will happen from December 6 to 10 also at the Aliw Theater.
