Nakipagpulong ang National Capital Region Police Office kay former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. upang pag-usapan ang libing ng kanyang amang si President Ferdinand E. Marcos sa Libingan ng mga Bayani sa Taguig City.
Ayon kay Chief Supt. Oscar Albayalde, NCRPO director, nais ni Bongbong na simple at tahimik ang libing ng dating Pangulo.
“He expects opposition so the big challenge for us is how to make it as peaceful as possible. We expect, well, violent reactions, especially from the militant groups,” sinabi ni Albayalde.
Pinangunahan ng NCRPO ang pulong sa Southern Police District headquarters sa Taguig City bilang bahagi ng kanilang paghahanda pagkatapos katigan ng Supreme Court ang pagpapalibing kay Pa-ngulong Marcos sa LNMB.
“It was us who initiated the meeting to determine as early as possible on what they plan to do,” sinabi ni Albayalde.
