FEEDBACK – Like Highspeed’s item on presidential relatives, the one on actors who value education also got reaction from some readers.

First, that Benjamin Alves finished AB at the University of Guam with the highest honors. Yes, summa cum laude.

Of course, the Guam school is no Harvard or Yale, or Stanford, but still a summa is a summa.

Also, that Benjamin started at Viva, using the screen moniker Vince Zaldaña. Didn’t know about that until now.

By the way, will the President Quezon filmbio push through with Benjamin in the title role?

‘BISTEK’ – Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista has an AB Philosophy from San Beda, where also took grade school and high school. He has two MAs, from UP (Public Administration) and National Defense College.

Harvard School of Government offered him a scholarship, but he couldn’t accept it for lack of time. Perhaps when his third and last term as QC mayor expires two years from now?

But then Bistek might run for congressman or senator.

Special mention to KC Concepcion who finished college at the American University of Paris before joining showbiz. She speaks fluent French, it goes without saying.
