MalacaƱang is set to explore options on how to deal with the reports, if confirmed, that members of the Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap are selling or leasing the houses the government gave them in Pandi, Bulacan last year.
Kadamay members who forcibly occupied the housing units for the government troops in Pandi, Bulacan, last year were reportedly selling or leasing the units to others.
Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said that Kadamay members should not make money out of the housing units President Duterte gave them. He added that if reports are confirmed to be true, they will look into how to deal with them.
Kadamay National Chairman Gloria Arellano said that they will investigate the reports that the units are being leased or sold. However, she denied in a radio interview that their members were involved in such schemes.
