The Commission on Elections has established a command center for the May 14 barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.
Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez said the command center will monitor all the field activities during the elections.
“It will serve as the hotline to receive, gather, and address all concerns related to the conduct of the 2018 BSKE,” he said. “It will ensure that all media activities are consistent with the public information needs,” added Jimenez.
The Comelec expects the command center to be operational today. It is located on the third floor at the Palacio del Gobernador in Intramuros, Manila.
