Actor-rapper Frank Magalona continues to keep silent concerning his alleged arrest Monday.
According to earlier reports, the son of the late Francis Magalona was arrested by Taguig police after supposedly groping a woman at Revel At The Palace, an upscale bar located in Uptown Bonifacio, Taguig.
This was eventually verified by Southern Police District chief Tomas Apolinario in an interview with PEP.
Apolinario said Magalona was the subject of a complaint filed by a woman working as a host in the bar.
The woman, who was not identified in the report, said Magalona pinched one of her butt cheeks.
The woman reported the incident to her supervisor prompting the showbiz scion’s arrest.
A charge for Unjust Vexation was supposedly filed against Magalona.
Based on Article 287 of the Revised Penal Code, “unjust vexation shall be punished by arresto menor or a fine ranging from R5 to R200 or both.”
Many were surprised with the news, with the actor-rapper being among the least controversial of the Magalona siblings.
He is also supposedly in a healthy relationship with a non-showbiz girlfriend.
Magalona is yet to issue a statement on the matter as of this writing.
