WARM weather will persist over most parts of the country, parÂticularly in the morning, due to the prevailing easterlies, or warm and humid air coming from the Pacific Ocean, the Philippine AtÂmospheric, Geophysical, and AsÂtronomical Services AdministraÂtion said yesterday.
PAGASA said Bicol region and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms toÂday.
It warned residents in these areas of possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains in the afternoon or evening.
On the other hand, the northÂeasterly wind flow is prevailing over extreme Northern Luzon.
PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be felt in Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isoÂlated rain showers due to localÂized thunderstorms. (Ellalyn V. Ruiz)
