Alleiah Malaluan was sensational for the Junior Lady Spikers with 20 points, including seven service aces, eight receptions and seven digs.
Justine Nazareno also had seven aces to finish with 10 hits for De La Salle-Zobel, which improved to 8-2 and assured itself of a playoff for the twice-to-beat slot in the Final Four.
Despite the loss, NU has already assured of a twice-to-beat semifinals incentive.
