Marwin Angeles scored a stoppage time goal and Kaya-Iloilo salvaged a 1-1 draw against PSM Makassar in the AFC Cup at the Pakansari Stadium in Bogor, Indonesia.
Angeles came to the rescue shortly before the final whistle by delivering the equalizer off a free kick that enabled Kaya to split a point with PSM.
Both clubs remained level on points in Group H with five points apiece, though Kaya still holds the top spot on goal difference halfway into the group stage.
The Ilonggos are seeking to top the group in hopes of gaining an automatic berth in the ASEAN Zonal semifinals.
Finnish striker Eero Markkanen struck a penalty kick for PSM near the hour mark.
Connor Tacagni appeared to have tied the count in the 69th minute off Angeles’ through ball but the former was whistled for an offside.
