EXTRA CAREFUL: Thank God Iza Calzado, diagnosed earlier as COVID-19 positive, is now home after recovering from the virus.
The drama actress had earlier contracted pneumonia, which later led to COVID-19. It wasn’t known how Iza got the virus.
And that’s the lesson the awarded actress wants us to remember. We have to be extra careful these days. Follow the Department of Health directive to stay at home and never to socialize.
People get the virus through direct exposure to those who already have it, or when they get to touch the virus spread earlier by a contaminated person.
That’s the reason why DOH keeps reminding us to always wash our hands with soap and water, or clean them with alcohol. The virus enters the body through our hands when we touch our face.
Before her confinement, Iza had been working on a new ABS-CBN drama series with Sam Milby and Jodie Santamaria.

CLEANER AIR: One of the positive effects of Enhanced Community Quarantine currently in place in Metro Manila and throughout Luzon is the clean air that we now enjoy in our cities.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources has confirmed the dramatic improvement in the quality of air that Metro Manilans can now breathe.
