Pinoy Strong 100, the first-ever reality fitness show, is going full blast next year that features the strongest Filipino from all walks of life apart from promoting the country’s favorite tourist spots.
Hosted by MMA fighter and program’s action director Mark Streigl, the show is primarily a survival of the fittest where hundreds of aspirants that will be tested physically and mentally during the event competition.
Streigl, 35, recently spearheaded the first selection in Tagaytay, last Sunday, Dec. 10, where 60 men and women – all national team members – displayed their strength and resilience in four nerve-wracking exercises.
The event was later opened to the public.
He alongside KIND Asia COO and creative director Alan Majadillas and CEO Christine Majadillas graced the PSA Forum at the conference hall of the Rizal Memorial Complex in Manila on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
“The selection process last month was exclusive for national athletes but for our future selections and activations, we will now open it to the public,” Streigl said.
“We will have challenges to determine the strongest of them all. We will squeeze the physical and mental toughness out of the participants,” he added.
PS100 collaborated with sports director Roby Alabado of the Department of Tourism to exhibit the beauty of the tourist spots here in the Philippines while showing how great Filipino athletes are.
“DOT is helping us, identifying the destinations we want to showcase like Palawan and Boracay, this is the first reality show that will tackle the culture, heritage, destinations and best athletes,” Christine said.
“This campaign celebrates the Filipino people and their incredible strength. We invite all Filipinos to join us in this inspiring search for the Pinoy Strong 100 and to witness the beauty of our culture and the strength of our people,” she added.

Aside from Tagaytay qualifiers, there will also be qualifying events in BGC, Zamboanga, and Cebu then broadcast with 12 episodes in March 2024.
The winner will take home P1 million pesos and will be crowned as the first PS 100 champion.
